We arrived to Camp Restore roughly an hour ago. We are all in one piece. We got a tour and are figuring out our where we will be sleeping. They have a full house this week! We have no idea what projects we will be doing in the morning. Thank you you for all your prayers for safe travels!
God’s blessings and peace to you!!

Adult Mission Trip – Spring 2010
A group of fourteen adults from Grace Lutheran Church and School are going to Camp Restore in New Orleans, LA the week of March 14th as a Mission Trip.
What is Camp Restore? Camp Restore New Orleans is housed on the restored campus of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church and School in New Orleans East. In 2006 LCMS World Relief and Human Care disaster response director Rev. Glenn Merritt, Laborers For Christ director Dan Baker, and Southern District President Kurtis Schultz led the effort to establish Camp Restore for “Restoring Faith, Home, and Community to Victims of Katrina.” For more information click here.
During the week, Deaconess Amanda will be updating the blog here with what’s going on.
